You’ll notice that as a person who is not yet logged in, you can’t see much in either the navigation bar or the sidebar. The amount of material that is displayed is very minimal but this changes once someone were to login as a member.

Once you login as a member, you will see everything that your membership level has permission to view. So this means you can actually display different material to different membership levels.
